Our nonprofit organization, Paws Across Oswego County, is a 501(c)3 non-profit animal rescue organization (Tax ID 22-3729416). Our organization fosters dogs in need and prepares them for successful adoption, while also providing support to our community! We are dedicated to assisting local animal shelters and dog control officers, promoting responsible pet ownership, and caring for homeless animals which includes training, vetting, and finding appropriate forever homes.
In recent years, PAOC has begun a transition as the group's founders step into their new chapter of retirement. This shift includes our rescue making a momentous move to a brand new kennel facility that supports and houses our foster animals, with abundant room for expansion! Although this comes with various challenges like starting over with all supplies, we are beyond excited to welcome the endless opportunities to come in our mission to help the local animal community.
