Why a Utica Coffee Fundraiser>

When my kids were younger, I dreaded the return to school because I knew exactly what would happen on the first day.  As soon as my kids would empty their back packs, I would see them.  Order forms.  Popcorn. Candy. Flowers. Candles.  It could have been anything really.  Regardless, I knew it would be nothing that I would want or could use.  Unfortunately, that would not be the worst thing they would bring home regarding fundraising.  I knew that in about 2 weeks, the second wave of dread would come.   The sign-up sheet.  The call for volunteers to separate and distribute all the "stuff" that came in boxes, bags and sometimes even coolers.   I can't begin to tell you how many times my freezer would be jam packed with cookie dough for parents who "totally forgot about pickups", and ultimately eating it myself because they just didn't want it.

Yeah.  I do not miss those days.

I do miss the cookies though.

Fast forward to today.  The world we live in is small time periods carved out in a busy day simply trying to fit everything we need to do in a short amount of time and being so exhausted at the end of the day we barely can make (or eat) dinner much less think about doing anything other than homework and bed.  Fundraising needs to be easier.  Sure, it's necessary, but it needs to be easy.

Thats where we come in.  Utica Coffee Roasting.  Your "need" for this fundraiser is right in its name....Coffee.  Sign me up!!

When thinking about fundraisers that will not put you in a strait jacket by November, you will usually look at 2 things.  1) How much money will we make?  2) How much work will we have to do?  Thankfully, we have the perfect answers for both of those questions.  But first, let's get the details out of the way.

A Utica Coffee fundraiser will definitely make your life a lot easier, however, we really do want to teach kids responsibility and learn the ability to communicate.  Therefore, we offer the good old fashioned traditional paper order forms.  We don't expect parents to do all the work (but who are we kidding....).  With our paper order forms, we encourage parents to instruct your kids on how to "sell".  Of course, always using common sense and practicing safe selling.  No door to door, and never alone.  The hard truth is that your immediate family and friends all drink coffee.  Trust me.

Now, let's be real.  As mentioned before, we live in a world of "busy".  It's so much easier to sit at your kitchen counter while throwing together a gourmet meal (Mac n cheese) and push a few buttons on your phone.  Voila.  You just ordered coffee from a custom webpage, and it will be delivered right to your front door.  Now, what could be easier than that?

Of course, if someone is local and doesn't want to pay for shipping, they can choose to pick up locally with the organization.  Again...easy.

Now, let's say you volunteered to distribute this coffee for your organization.  Here is what you do.  Stand by a table, sip your coffee and point.  Yeah, that's it.  All the boxes are already separated per person.  Ill repeat that for those in the back.  YOU DONT HAVE TO DO ANYTHING!

I'm sure we will have many conversations before your fundraiser actually starts, but I really just wanted to touch on the important part.  That being...this is easy.  We do almost everything.

Now, finally.  How much money will you make?  30% of all sales.  Thirty percent!!  I'm just going to leave that there.

Here is the thing though.  I keep referring to schools.  School clubs need money.  We know this.  But what about your bowling team, or your summer softball league that might just play better if they had cool matching shirts!  Church camp, clubs, organizations of all kinds.  They all know someone who drinks coffee.

If you emailed me today, I could have you started tomorrow.  I'm serious.

We can't wait to work with you!
