MISSION STATEMENT: The Purpose of Feral Cats of Bergen County (FCBC)  is founded on the belief that all animals have a natural right to proper care and safe shelter. 

There are insufficient homes for most cats due to overpopulation. We believe in stopping the unnecessary suffering of cats and kittens. Our goals are to:

1. Make every effort to find, evaluate, and secure good adoptive homes for animals in our care;2. Provide animals with medical services and social therapy to the extent of our ability; 3. Adhere to a "no-kill" policy: animals shall not be euthanized for the purpose of providing space for new animals;4. Adhere to spay and neuter policy for all cats in our care and to provide low cost options for kittens to adoptive parents
